 Kitty Charm Farm rescues houseless cats from the streets and gets them fixed, vaccinated, microchipped and parasite treated. If they are truly feral (wild), and it’s too late to socialize them, they are re-released to the same location they have always known as their home. However, if they are Community Cats (friendly cats), KCF makes every effort to secure them a family and a home. Because most animals coming from the streets are in rough shape, Sarah built a small vet clinic on her farm for Kitty Charm Farm to use. KCF retains a handful of vets on Maui who assist in providing expert care. For that reason, KCF focuses on animals who are truly in the most need. Houseless cats who have been attacked by a dog, hit by a car, dumped where there is no food source and in late stages of starvation. Kittens hanging on by a thread due to ailments such as Coccidia or Ghiardia. Cats with eyes that have exploded and need removal….dragging a leg that needs amputation. Just about anything most people cannot take on physically or financially, this has become the prime focus of our rescue efforts.
