Once Kitty Charm Farm built an on-site vet clinic for our rescued animals, we decided to go further. In an effort to help families retain their own pets, KCF now provides free “pop up” vet clinics on our farm.

Pet owners, colony caretakers, tourists and compassionate people of all kinds can bring any cat in need to our free clinics for care.

While we cannot provide x-rays, sedation or surgeries, we are able to care for cats with a variety of conditions. We ask those who can afford it to donate the hard cost of the any medications needed, so we can continue to assist more members of the community.

If they cannot afford to donate, we cover the cost of medications ourselves. When cats arrive in terrible condition, such as this kitty, we care for them here until they are healed and can either be adopted or released.

Because we retain our own vets, we are able to provide assistance to approximately 25 cats per clinic, at a very low hard cost of only $600 a day (on average).

If taken to a normal vet clinic, these 25 cases would incur a bill of about $450 each. At $450 per cat x 25 cats seen in a day, KCF is providing over $11,000 of free vet care to our community each day we hold a free clinic at our farm.
